Kwanzaa 2025–2026

Overview

Kwanzaa is an annual, week-long celebration of African American culture, heritage, and the Seven Principles known as the Nguzo Saba. Observed from December 26 to January 1, Kwanzaa honors African traditions and values through ceremonies, gatherings, candle lightings, and community events.

This celebration includes cultural programs, educational activities, musical performances, and family traditions centered on unity, creativity, and collective responsibility.
